Terms and Conditions

My Perfect Parties – Terms and Conditions (Sleepover Tent Hire)


Please read the following terms carefully before booking. By paying your booking fee, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.


My Perfect Parties reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without notice.


Booking & Payments

  • A £25 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
     
  • If payment is not received within 24 hours, your requested date will be released and made available to others.
     
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days before the event.
     
  • Partial payments will not secure your booking, and failure to pay the full balance on time may result in cancellation and forfeiture of your booking fee.
     
  • If the final balance is not paid by the due date, your booking will be cancelled and the booking fee and any balance paid will be forfeited.
     

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or changes must be submitted in writing via email to:

  • If you cancel 14 days or more before the event, your booking fee is non-refundable, but you will be offered a rescheduled date or a voucher credit valid for 12 months.
     
  • If you cancel within 14 days of the event, no refund will be issued.
     
  • If full payment has already been made, a gift voucher will be issued.
     
  • No cash refunds will be given.
     
  • Gift vouchers and credits are non-transferable to another person or party.
     
  • We will make every effort to find a new date that works for both parties. If a new date cannot be agreed upon, the booking fee will be lost.
     

No-Shows and Late Arrivals

  • If you are not present within your agreed setup time slot, we reserve the right to cancel the setup and leave.
     
  • In this case, your booking will be considered lost, and no refunds will be provided.
     

Illness & Rescheduling

  • If any guest is experiencing sickness or diarrhoea, please notify us immediately.
     
  • To protect everyone’s health, we require that symptoms have cleared for at least 48 hours before setup (in line with NHS policy).
     
  • In such cases, we are happy to reschedule your event to a new date, subject to availability.
     

Event Confirmation & Setup

  • You will receive an email 10 days before your event confirming setup and collection times.
     
  • We aim to complete all setups by 4pm, unless otherwise arranged.
     
  • While we strive for punctuality, delays may occur due to traffic or weather. If this happens, we will inform you promptly.
     
  • The full event will still be delivered where possible, but no refunds or partial refunds will be issued due to delays.
     

Venue Requirements & Access

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure:
     
    • Adequate parking directly outside the property
       
    • All furniture is cleared before our arrival to allow space for tents and equipment
       
    • Safe and timely access to the property is provided for both setup and collection at agreed times
       
  • Congestion charges and parking fees are not included in the booking price and must be paid on the day of the event.
     
  • If the venue or event time changes, you must notify us as early as possible.
     
    • Availability is not guaranteed for changed dates/times, and additional charges may apply.
       

Safety & Usage

  • Tents are suitable for children aged 3 and above only.
     
  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in or around any equipment.
     
  • Pets are not allowed near tents, bedding, or any sleepover accessories.
     
  • We are not responsible for allergies or reactions. If food or drinks are provided, ingredient information is available upon request.
     

Client Conduct

  • We expect all clients and guests to behave respectfully toward our staff and equipment during setup and use.
     
  • My Perfect Parties reserves the right to cease services and leave the venue if staff feel unsafe or experience disrespectful behaviour.
     

Noise and Neighbour Considerations

  • Clients must ensure that their event complies with any local noise ordinances and respect neighbours to avoid disturbances.
     

Damages & Liability

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of any damage to equipment during the hire period.
     
  • Payment for damages must be made upon collection via BACS or Apple Pay.


  • Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was delivered.
     
  • My Perfect Parties accepts no liability for any indirect or consequential losses, including missed enjoyment or inconvenience resulting from the hire.
     

Force Majeure

  • My Perfect Parties shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies.
     
  • In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your booking.
     

Insurance

  • My Perfect Parties holds public liability insurance covering up to £10 million to protect you and your event.
     

Photography & Social Media

  • We may take photos or videos of the event setup to use on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
     
  • If you do not consent to photography, please inform us in advance in writing to enquiries@myperfectparties.co.uk
     

Data Protection

  • My Perfect Parties processes personal data collected during booking in accordance with GDPR regulations.
     
  • Your information is used solely for booking and communication purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
     
  • For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy available on our website.
     

Final Note

By paying your booking fee, you confirm that you understand and agree to all terms outlined above. These policies are in place to ensure the safety, quality, and smooth running of every sleepover experience provided by My Perfect Parties.
